Georgia man arrested after shooting family members and barricading himself in his home – WSB-TV Channel 2

BIBB COUNTY, Ga. – A Georgia man was recently arrested after police say he shot at family members and then barricaded himself in a home, prompting a SWAT team to intervene.

The Bibb County Sheriff's Office responded to a call to a home on Goodall Mill Road where a man was wanted for assault and obstruction of justice.

The man had barricaded himself in his house when officers arrived.

Eventually, officers and SWAT members entered the home and arrested the unidentified man on several charges.

The man was armed when he was arrested, officials said.

Channel 2 Action News has contacted MPs for further information on the incident.
