Serious accident leaves several dead and causes road closures in Dallas – NBC 5 Dallas-Fort Worth

Several people were killed in a serious traffic accident in Dallas in the early hours of Monday morning and parts of IH-35 and Loop 820 had to be closed.

According to Dallas police, shortly after midnight, a black Camaro traveling north on IH 35E at a high rate of speed struck a sedan near the Seminary exit.

According to police, the driver of the Camaro suffered serious injuries and was taken to a local hospital.

Police said several passengers in the limousine died in the accident. Police have not yet confirmed how many people died.

According to police, the northbound lanes of IH-35 from Loop 820 to Seminary will be closed for several hours. Loop 820 will also be closed to IH-35E, but the service roads will remain open.

The police are still investigating this accident, but no arrests have been made so far.
