Karnataka HC asks court not to take action against CM Siddaramaiah until hearing is completed

The Karnataka High Court on Monday asked the court not to take any action against CM Siddaramaiah as the governor had imposed sanctions in the alleged MUDA scam case while the hearing of the CM’s petition in the Supreme Court is still ongoing, reported Live Law.

Justice Nagaprasanna orally observed that the proceedings before the Supreme Court should not be frustrated or presented with a fait accompli by the court issuing an order tomorrow.

On August 29, the Supreme Court will further hear Chief Minister Siddaramaiah's petition against Governor Thawar Chand Gehlot's order prosecuting him.
