MrBeast faces harsh reactions for ignoring controversy when releasing new videos

YouTuber MrBeast, whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson, has been criticized for not addressing the recent controversies surrounding his company in his latest video releases. Despite allegations about working conditions at his company, MrBeast has continued to upload new content, including a recent video titled “7 Days Stranded In A Cave,” which quickly garnered over 10 million views.

The video, which shows MrBeast exploring caves in New Zealand, makes no mention of the ongoing allegations or the brewing controversy. Instead, it includes a short segment promoting MrBeast Labs, his newly launched toy brand.

The criticism has intensified as viewers claim that MrBeast is deleting comments about the controversy and manipulating the comment sections of his videos. Allegations of comment deletion have also been made in relation to his previous video, “Survive 100 Days in a Fallout Bunker.”

One Twitter user expressed his frustration by saying: “Imagine being the most subscribed YouTuber on the planet doing something like this… It's a shame MrBeast because the internet will not forget what you did!”

MrBeast has not commented publicly on the allegations since announcing a third-party investigation into his company's practices on July 22, 2024. Employees like Ludwig have taken steps to distance themselves, including ending a sponsorship deal with MrBeast's Feastables brand. Ludwig noted that his decision was “mutual,” but stressed that he will not work with MrBeast again until the issues are resolved.

Jake Weddle, another collaborator, has also turned down a significant payment from MrBeast, fearing that with the release of Dogpack's third video, more allegations, including claims of sexual misconduct, could emerge.

Despite the ongoing investigation, MrBeast has remained silent on the matter, prompting many fans to demand a direct response to the allegations.
