Florida gasoline prices hit two-month low – WFTV

ORLANDO, Fla. – Gasoline prices in the Sunshine State just hit their lowest level in two months.

According to AAA, the average price on Sunday was $3.31 per gallon.

The automobile club said this was a decrease of 2 cents from the previous week and 12 cents from the previous month.

By Monday, the average price had fallen another two cents to $2.29.

“The price of crude oil continues to influence prices at the pump,” said Mark Jenkins of AAA.

“Crude oil prices rose early last week on strong U.S. economic data, but declined by the end of the week on weak data from China,” Jenkins added.

Florida recorded its highest average price of 2024 in May, when a gallon of regular gasoline rose to $3.64.
