PennDOT hosts job fair in Allegheny County for winter maintenance program – WPXI

ASPINWALL, Pa. – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation is hosting a job fair for positions in its winter maintenance program in Allegheny County.

The job fair will be held on Thursday, August 22nd from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at PennDOT's Allegheny County Maintenance Building in Aspinwall, 51 Fox Chapel Road.

Available positions in Allegheny County include:

• Seasonal (temporary to permanent) drivers with a commercial driver’s license (CDL)
• Diesel mechanic (m/f/d) full-time
• Full-time and seasonal workers for tunnel maintenance
• Seasonal winter dispatchers
• Seasonal craftsmen’s helpers

Recruitment staff will be on hand at the event to discuss the vacancies. There will also be on-site applications, interviews, driving tests and conditional offers of employment for some positions.

Applicants for CDL positions are asked to bring their driver's license and a current medical certificate. All other applicants are asked to bring appropriate identification.
