Man arrested in connection with 'small crime spree' in Metropolis, Illinois.

METROPOLIS, Ill. (KFVS) – A man was arrested in connection with what police called a “small crime spree” in southern Illinois.

Randy L. Bradley, Jr., 33, of Metropolis, was arrested on numerous felony charges, including two counts of residential burglary, two counts of criminal damage to property, auto burglary and more.

According to a Metropolis police press release, they were called to the Harrah's parking lot on August 14, where they met with agents from the Illinois Gaming Board.

The agents told them that a Pontiac G6 had been looted and damaged, and someone had taken the license plates.

When police spoke to the registered owner of the vehicle, they learned that the vehicle had been stolen and numerous items were missing.

The suspect was identified as Bradley Jr.

According to police, he went on a small crime spree, breaking into the First Methodist Church and a home near 5th and Scott Street.

The victim called police and officers found him in the alley between 5th and 6th streets. They say Bradley Jr. was extremely irrational and belligerent.

Bradley Jr. was arrested and taken to the Massac County Detention Center.
