Police release photos of suspects in Atlanta Mechanicsville shooting

On the night of Saturday, August 10, shortly after 10 p.m., police responded to a parking lot on Windsor Street NW after hearing several gunshots in the area.

ATLANTA – Atlanta Police Department homicide investigators are asking the public for help in identifying suspects in connection with the Mechanicsville shooting that left five people injured.

On the night of Saturday, August 10, shortly after 10 p.m., police responded to a parking lot on Windsor St. NW after hearing several gunshots in the area.

When officers arrived, they found five people shot, including a 29-year-old woman who was hospitalized with serious injuries, and four other victims: a 17-year-old girl, a 33-year-old woman, a 16-year-old boy and a 15-year-old boy who were hospitalized in stable condition.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Atlanta Police Department Homicide Unit directly at (404) 546-4235. Tips can also be submitted anonymously to the Crime Stoppers Atlanta hotline at (404) 577-TIPS (8477), online at www.StopCrimeAtl.org or by texting the tip to CRIMES (274637).

Anyone with information leading to the arrest of the suspects may be eligible for a reward of up to $2,000.
