Hulu releases trailer for the fourth season of “Only Murders In The Building”

Wherever they go, murder follows them.

Digital's Strangest Trio Returns for Hulu's Fourth Season Only murders in the building on Tuesday, August 27th (with one episode per week). The logline: Charles (Steve Martin), Oliver (Martin Short) and Mabel (Selena Gomez) grapple with the shocking events at the end of the third season involving Charles' stunt double and girlfriend Sazz Pataki (Jane Lynch). The trio's investigations lead them to Los Angeles, where a Hollywood studio is making a film about the Only murders Podcast. On the way back to New York, our amateur detectives embark on an even more epic journey: They cross the courtyard of their building and explore the confusing lives of the residents of Arconia's West Tower.

Guests in this fourth season include Meryl Streep, Zach Galifianakis, Eugene Levy, Eva Longoria, Richard Kind, Jane Lynch, Melissa McCarthy, Kumail Nanjiani, Da'Vine Joy Randolph and Molly Shannon.

Only murders in the building comes from co-creators and authors Steve Martin and John Hoffman (Grace and Frankie, Seek). Martin and Hoffman are executive producers along with Martin Short, Selena Gomez, this is us Creators Dan Fogelman and Jess Rosenthal. The series is produced by 20th Television, a division of Disney Television Studios.

The series is currently nominated for 21 Emmy Awards, including best comedy series and best acting for its three stars. Steve Martin, 79, broke his own record as the oldest nominee for lead actor in a comedy in Emmy history. Series newcomers Meryl Streep and Paul Rudd are also nominated for their supporting roles, along with Matthew Broderick and Da'Vine Joy Randolph in the guest categories.

The 76th Primetime Emmy Awards airs Sunday, September 15 at 8:00 p.m. ET on ABC.
