Drug paraphernalia was discovered in the vehicle and Schlichter allegedly gave the officer a crack pipe from his pocket, court documents say.

While searching the vehicle, the officer found a silver paper fold with small white stones. The former quarterback allegedly told the officer that they were “crack” stones.

Schlichter, who was serving a suspended sentence for a 2022 drug offense, was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance.

He was the Buckeyes' quarterback from 1978 to 1981.

A reading of the charges for mediators is scheduled for September 3.
