Financial Incentive: PAID training for electric vehicles to install and | V103

Two-time Emmy and three-time NAACP Image Award winner and television producer Rushion McDonald interviewed Dr. Tiffany Bussey, the director of the Morehouse Innovation & Entrepreneurship Center. The center supports the development of minority entrepreneurship through academic research, training and consulting services.

Goodwill has launched a new program to increase its workforce in electric vehicle work. Employees go through a four-week program and start earning $30 an hour. Atlanta is one of four accelerator locations across the country. Participants will learn to install and maintain electric vehicle chargers, heat pumps and solar panels.

The Clean Tech Infrastructure Academy at Goodwill is a four-week training program where participants attend 40 hours per week and, for $15 an hour, learn how to become maintenance technicians for electric vehicle utility equipment, essentially electric vehicle charging stations.
