Foul play in football: The murder of Bryan Pata

On the football field, Bryan Pata was destined for success. As a 22-year-old defensive player for the University of Miami Hurricanes, Bryan was set to be selected in the NFL Draft in the spring of 2007. But before Bryan had the chance to make it big, he was shot and killed right outside his apartment near the University of Miami campus. His team mourned together, unaware that the perpetrator could be among them.

Homicide investigators with the Miami-Dade Police Department Cold Case Unit Juan Segovia provides details of the senseless murder and explains how his department was able to make an arrest in the case 15 years later.
