Motorcyclist injured in accident in Oswego on Sunday morning

A motorcyclist was injured in an accident in Oswego on Route 71 and Paradise Parkway early Sunday morning.

According to Oswego Police, a 77-year-old man was turning left from Route 71 onto Paradise Parkway. Police report that while making the left turn, the 77-year-old failed to yield the right of way and slammed on his brakes, causing a motorcycle driven by a 59-year-old man to collide with the passenger side.

The 59-year-old was taken to Rush Copley Hospital, but was awake and conscious. Police did not say whether a report had been filed.
