How to get Apple Music free for three months

Apple Music

New users can now try Apple Music free for three months, up from the usual one month, to get the super-big introductory offer for music streaming.

Apple is offering a free month trial to people who haven't tried Apple Music yet. This used to be a much longer period of three months, but was shortened to one month in February 2022.

One month is the norm, but there is also the possibility of benefiting from a longer free trial period. This is usually an offer included with the purchase of hardware.

But now new users can once again take advantage of a three-month free trial of Apple Music. After the free trial ends, subscribers will be charged the usual price of $11 unless they cancel or change their subscription.

How to sign up for Apple Music's three-month free trial

  • On your iPhone, iPad, or Mac, open the Music App. The offer should appear on the screen immediately.
  • If the offer does not appear immediately, navigate to Home within the app.

Supply restrictions

The offer is valid until September 23, 2024 and is therefore only available for one month.

Additionally, it is only available to new subscribers who have not used Apple Music before. Existing subscribers and current users cannot take advantage of the offer.

This also prevents people who previously had access to Apple Music through a family plan subscription from taking advantage of the offer, as well as anyone who had or was part of an Apple One subscription.
