Arrest made in connection with fatal shooting of 20-year-old Aliquippa woman found in alley – WPXI

ALIQUIPPA, Pennsylvania – An arrest has been made in connection with the shooting of an Aliquippa woman who was found dead in an alley over the weekend.

Treonna Washington, 20, was found dead in an alley early Saturday morning. State police in Beaver County classified the incident as a homicide.

The public prosecutor confirmed the arrest.

The family came together on Monday to speak exclusively with Channel 11's Cara Sapida.

“These stories are being heard all over America… This is not just a body found in the alley, this was our baby,” said Trey Willis, the victim's father.

On social media, her family and friends expressed their deep affection and support, devastated that she has been taken from her before her 21st birthday next month.

“I keep hearing everyone say, 'That 20-year-old woman,' but she was a baby, she was our baby. She was our baby and she didn't deserve this.”
