Great Mills man arrested after stabbing in Lexington Park

LEXINGTON PARK, Maryland. – Luricko Amazzio Clyburn Jr., 18, of Great Mills, was arrested Monday, August 19, following the investigation of an assault at a local business in the 21000 block of Great Mills Road.

Officers arrived at the incident at around 5:40 p.m. and spoke to witnesses who reported seeing a fight between two men. One victim was found with a stab wound to the abdomen and was taken to a nearby hospital by emergency services. He is currently in stable condition. The suspect fled the scene.

Officers later located the vehicle the suspect fled in and arrested him. Detectives and Criminal Investigation Lab technicians took over the investigation, arrested Clyburn, and took him to the St. Mary's County Adult Detention and Rehabilitation Center. He is charged with first- and second-degree assault.
