According to the leaks, the upcoming model could be positioned between the best-selling Seltos and Sonet.

Kia Motor is working on a new SUV called Syros. According to reports, the vehicle will be launched soon. Ahead of the official launch, the model was spied during the testing phase and some important details about its interior were revealed.

According to the report, the company has already filed its patent in the country. According to the leaks, the upcoming model could be positioned between the best-selling Seltos and Sonet, giving customers another option in this competitive segment.

What awaits you

According to the spy images, the upcoming Kia Syros will get a brand new multifunctional two-spoke steering wheel with a flat bottom. This design will be used for the first time in this product line.

However, the steering wheel looks largely identical to that of the K4 sedan, which officially appeared on the international market earlier this year.

Inner

Apart from that, customers get a Seltos-inspired dual display with a robust 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system that supports all wireless vehicle connectivity technologies including Android, Apple and Auto Carplay.

The cabin also features a 10.25-inch digital display for the driver, complemented by some physical buttons directly below the entertainment system.

Exterior

From the outside, the model will get the trendy LED headlights paired with vertically installed LED daytime running lights. The leaks also hinted at the diamond cut alloy wheels that will make it more aggressive in the segment.

Other notable features include electrically adjustable ventilated seats, multiple driving modes, synthetic leather upholstery, panoramic sunroof, automatic air conditioning and so on.

Drives

Kia Syros is expected to be offered with both a combustion engine and a purely electric drive. The latter could take longer to come to market than the petrol version.
