An expression they use all the time on the internet. It's now called “delulu” and then becomes “very reserved”.

And everyone is proud that Jenna Ortega from “Wednesday,” Lily Collins from “Emily in Paris,” and even Jennifer Lopez make videos about it.

The phrase “very low-key” has gained popularity after TikTok content creator Jools Lebron posted a video on August 5 about how she approaches her work and makeup.

The video started in her engine as she said, “See how I do my makeup for work? Very understated, very attentive.”

This video now has over 30 million views and she now has over 1.5 million followers on TikTok.

Since then, over 200,000 posts using the hashtag and videos about how to behave “very cautiously” in such situations have appeared worldwide.

Meanwhile, “modest” is a word used to describe quiet, reserved and modest women.

In this trendy video, Jools tries to explain how she applies her makeup without being too colorful.

And it's as if even brands no longer live up to their word.

So far, Jools does not receive any support from car apps and cosmetic brands that are not listed in her comment section.

Because she excels at this content, Jools is growing in popularity on TikTok for her GRWM content as well as her product reviews.

When asked where she got the idea for the content, Jools replies, “Well, apparently the trauma you face when you do a job in retail is so good that you start to be reticent about the internet.”

She added: “I feel like I have a reserved attitude. I'm crazy and out of control, and then I find some restraint and with that comes success.”

The Oxford dictionary defines “demure” as “reserved, modest and shy.”

This is just one of many phrases that are trending daily on social media.

Even trends that develop into slang in Nigeria and Africa spread to the rest of the world.

This song by Nigerian musician Ckay titled “Love Nwantiti” shook the world during the coronavirus pandemic thanks to social media.

And besides, how will Pipo start talking about Kenergy after the Barbie movie is released in 2023?

But some come from regular TikTokers, like the people who started the TikTok trend they call “NPC” livestream.

This trend begins in 2023, when a content creator named PinkyDoll engages in livestreams behaving like video game players.

PinkyDoll, her real name is Fedha Sinon, does live streams in which she reacts in a certain way depending on the gift she receives for her TikTok streams.
