This iPhone 16 price leak is good news for (almost) everyone

A new iPhone16 A leak has suggested that all but one of the four upcoming models will retain the same price as the iPhone 15 series. However, the iPhone 16 Pro will reportedly receive a price increase to compensate for the additional features.

Regular informant Apple Hub recently leaked the iPhone 16 series pricing and specs. All models are expected to remain the same price as the previous generation, except for the iPhone 16 Pro. This model will be $100 more expensive, from $999 to $1,099. While this is a 10% price increase, it reflects the improved specs and features the 16 Pro will offer, including a telephoto lens and a new 256GB storage option. These additions will help the iPhone 16 Pro remain competitive against the best Android phones, as many of them already offer excellent telephoto options.

The iPhone 16 is rumored to cost $799, the Plus $899, and the Pro Max $1,199. Apple Hub's specs also match our previously reported leak about the iPhone 16 Pro's dimensions, with the Pro and Pro Max moving to a 6.3-inch and 6.9-inch display respectively, and also being upgraded to WiFi 7. These changes could make the iPhone 16 Pro the best gaming iPhone yet, with plenty of screen real estate, tons of storage, and a fast connection.

Not surprisingly, all four models are rumored to be compatible with Apple Intelligence. as they all use the A18 chipset or a modified Pro version. Given how much Apple is pushing AI to rival the Galaxy AI found in some of Samsung's best phones, it would be odd if the new flagships didn't include this feature. However, it's worth noting that Apple has delayed the rollout of its AI features, so don't expect to be able to try them out if you grab an iPhone 16 at launch.

These static prices mean that there will still be some money left in your budget to buy the best iPhone accessories for your new device. Or maybe you're considering skipping this generation after the recently rumored iPhone 17 specs? Either way, we can't wait to see what Apple actually has in store for us when the iPhone 16 officially launches.
