Nicole Jacky is criticized for Kendall Washington video

She really went there, and we wish she hadn't. During the Love Island USA Reunion of season 6, Nicole Jacky And Kendall Washington had a revealing conversation about his leaked NSFW video. Now everyone is suddenly Team Kendall.

As you probably know, right after the Season 6 finale aired, where Nicole and Kendall tied for fourth place, an explicit video of Kendall exposing herself on camera surfaced on social media. Obviously, this was a big topic at the reunion, but fans are not happy with how Nicole handled it.

Nicole and Kendall faced each other during the Love Island USA reunion

The video surfaced during the reunion after Ariana Madix asked for an update on the couple's relationship. The pair had previously claimed they would be moving into a long-distance relationship after the villa, but what happens now that the cameras are off?

“It was a little rough from the outside,” Kendall began. “I was just trying to communicate -“

Nicole interrupted him. She said, “Communicate? You didn't communicate.”

Then the conversation took an awkward turn. Kendall claimed he was trying to give her space, but Nicole said he “lied” to her face about the origins of the NSFW video. At that point, she should have just stopped talking and waited until the cameras were off. Instead, she made herself look pretty selfish in front of millions of viewers.

“I just want to say something. Obviously the video is not OK. Nobody deserves this. Everyone in this room agrees it sucks,” Nicole said.

She continued: “I think, though, when you say you love someone, you have to be honest in the moment you tell me about something. Instead of saying it was years ago from someone you trusted – an ex-girlfriend – and then I find out two days later from JaNa [Craig] that it happened in the hotel room before the show with someone on a dating app is crazy.”

According to Nicole, Kendall put her in a difficult position with the video. She wanted him to defend her publicly and felt attacked by his video.

“It puts me in such a shitty position because I cared about you too and I love you and people question that,” Nicole said. “Even though you let the world believe we're not together, we're still together.”

Love Island fans support Kendall

Nicole's attitude toward Kendall didn't go over well with the Islanders at the reunion and definitely didn't go over well with fans watching at home. Dozens upon dozens of people watching at home ripped her off on X, aka Twitter.

“I'm not a Kendall fan but Nicole is missing the point,” wrote one viewer. “Kendall had a private video leaked and she doesn't seem to have the slightest bit of compassion for how he reacted to an impossibly horrible situation????”

Another fan added, “Kendall was literally shaking. The man is traumatized. The fact that Nicole even brought it up on TV knowing they hadn't talked about it privately beforehand is VERY telling.”

As telling as it may be, the two are reportedly still trying to make their long-distance relationship work. During the reunion, Nicole assured Ariana that she is not “over” things with Kendall.

“I just want to make up for the lie,” Kendall explained.
