When does hiring begin and what salary is expected?

Are you looking for a job at Amazon's new warehouse in Knoxville? You may soon have the opportunity to apply.

Although no date has been set for the warehouse's opening, Divina Mims, Amazon's public relations manager, told Knox News that the warehouse will open in time for the holiday season and that hiring will begin approximately 30 days before opening.

The warehouse is Amazon's second facility in East Tennessee. A robotic fulfillment center opened in October at 4101 S. Singleton Station Road in Alcoa.

The new delivery station at the former East Towne Mall site will create hundreds of full- and part-time jobs with salaries starting at $17 an hour.
