At least three teachers at a school in Bosnia and Herzegovina were killed during an assembly when a gunman, believed to be the school's former janitor, opened fire with an automatic rifle inside the building.

According to local reports, the dead are school principal Nijaz Halilović, English teacher Gordana Midžan and Nisveta Kljunić. Police investigations are ongoing.

Regional television station N1 reported that the suspected perpetrator had a dispute with the school administration. He is said to have shot the director and other school employees before attempting to kill himself.
