iPhone 16 Pro Max leak just revealed advantage over Galaxy S24 Ultra and Pixel 9 Pro XL

With the iPhone 16 Pro Max, not only could the screen size increase, but the actually usable portion of it could also become larger.

Leaker Ice Universe has published what appears to be an annotated CAD drawing of the iPhone 16 Pro Max. The dimensions show that the phone will have a bezel of just 1.15mm around the display.

These would be 30% smaller than the 1.71mm wide bezels of the iPhone 15 Pro Max, and the iPhone 16 Pro is said to be almost as thin at 1.2mm.

This could be one of several ways the top-of-the-line iPhone 16 series can differentiate itself from other current premium smartphones. The Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra's roughly 1.5mm bezels beat the iPhone 15 Pro Max, but according to leaked figures, won't be able to keep up with this year's updated Pro iPhones. Then there's the Google Pixel 9 Pro XL, which hasn't had exact measurements taken or been leaked, but which appears to have thicker screen bezels than the S24 Ultra or iPhone 15 Pro Max.
