According to Neighborhood Scout, the crime rate is 48 per thousand residents and Everett has one of the highest crime rates in America when analyzing communities of all sizes. Due to understaffing in all police departments, residents and city leaders know that Casino Road is one of the most troubled areas in Everett.

“Casino Road has always had a bad reputation,” Paula Marshall, operations manager for Madres de Casino Road, told FOX 13 about installing security cameras along the road. “I know the city and the police are trying to make it better and safer. It's not an easy battle, but little by little we're seeing improvements.”
