Lil' Drug Store Products is now the master distributor for Procter & Gamble's most popular health products in the convenience store space. The new partnership builds on LDSP's growth initiatives with Rolaids, a P&G brand, in the convenience store market, LDSP said.

“We are very excited to expand our partnership with P&G to distribute its leading healthcare brands into the convenience channel,” said Hayley Fry, senior director of marketing at LDSP, in announcing the partnership. “This strategic move will significantly increase the availability of P&G's top SKUs, which are well positioned for success in this channel.”

Effective Sept. 3, the partnership will enable LDSP to enhance collaboration with and support its retail partners through its sales, brokerage and category management teams, with a focus on driving category growth and delivering effective healthcare solutions to the communities they serve, the Cedar Rapids, Iowa-based company said.

“By optimizing the distribution of these brands, P&G can reach more consumers in their everyday environments,” said Fry. “We want to leverage our expertise to increase distribution and revenue, and we are honored to be selected as P&G's strategic partner for growth in the convenience channel.”

Founded in 1974 with the goal of providing convenient assistance to travelers, Lil' Drug Store Products now supplies approximately 180,000 retail locations, including c-stores, travel and hospitality, and other retail locations.

Cincinnati-based Procter and Gamble offers brands for consumers' cleaning, health and hygiene needs, from Pampers baby diapers to Tide laundry products to Crest toothpaste and more.
