Man arrested after allegedly taking videos of women changing in a dressing room

PHOENIX – A man is in custody after allegedly recording videos of women changing in the dressing room of a downtown Phoenix store.

According to court documents, the man was arrested following an incident at the Last Chance store near SR-51 and Camelback Road.

Around noon Friday, Phoenix police were called to the store because a man had taken photos of people changing in the women's dressing room.

One victim reported to police that she noticed a phone being pushed into her dressing room through a small gap between the wall and the floor. After this happened at least three times, the victim left the room and reported it to management.

A branch manager then entered the booth and pretended to change the money. He saw someone push the phone into the booth again.

The store staff then kept an eye on the room until the man came out of the dressing room.

The man was then seen browsing in the store before attempting to leave.

At the time, he was surrounded by customers and passersby, who did not let him leave until police arrived, court documents show.

Officers searched the man's phone and found several videos of women changing in the dressing room and other women browsing at Last Chance.

The man is currently facing charges of unauthorized recording of a person.
