Oconee County Sheriff's Office arrests multiple suspects for drug trafficking

OCONEE COUNTY, SC (FOX Carolina) – The Oconee County Sheriff's Office executed search warrants on ten suspects Monday and arrested nine on drug and firearms charges.

Deputies report that they searched four locations on Monday:

• Adams Sullivan Road near Walhalla
• Johnnie Drive and Bernwood Circle near Seneca
• Elhilow Lane near Townville
• Spring Branch Road near Walhalla

Officers said they found commercial quantities of fentanyl, methamphetamine and cocaine at the locations, as well as marijuana, prescription drugs and firearms.

After the drugs were found, the following suspects were arrested and charged:

• Zachariah Martin – 32 years old, charged with distribution of methamphetamine, distribution of fentanyl, trafficking in methamphetamine and trafficking in fentanyl
• Robert Friesel, Jr. – age 44, charged with three counts of possession of a controlled substance, two counts of possession of a weapon by a convicted felon, and one count each of trafficking in fentanyl, trafficking in methamphetamine, and possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime
• Lawrence Clovis, III – 37 years old, charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, possession of a controlled substance and possession with intent to distribute marijuana
• Darius Matthews – 32 years old, charged with possession of fentanyl and possession of a controlled substance
• Lindsay Eades – 31 years old, charged with six counts of possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime, two counts of distribution of methamphetamine, and one count each of trafficking in methamphetamine and trafficking in fentanyl
• Deon Thomas – 39 years old, charged with possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime, trafficking in methamphetamine, trafficking in fentanyl and four counts of possession of a controlled substance
• Kalena Jenkins – 45 years old, charged with four counts of trafficking in methamphetamine, three counts of possession of a controlled substance, and one count each of possession with intent to resell fentanyl, trafficking in fentanyl, and possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime
• Jacklyn Cobb – 26 years old, trafficking cocaine, possession of marijuana with intent to resell, trafficking fentanyl and possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime
• Robbie Eades – 34 years old, trafficking in fentanyl, trafficking in methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine, possession of fentanyl and two counts of possession of a controlled substance
• Saul Sanchez – 36 years old, arrested at the scene, has a warrant for shoplifting and an arrest warrant out for his arrest.

All suspects were taken to the Oconee County Detention Center.

The Oconee County Sheriff's Office is also asking the public for help in locating two other suspects:

• Mario Stowers – 44 years old, wanted for fentanyl trafficking and heroin trafficking
• Dexter Mathis – 37 years old, wanted for trafficking methamphetamine and unlawful neglect of a child
