According to reports, a minor clash occurred between the motorcyclist and the car driver after both vehicles collided in traffic. The argument escalated and reportedly resulted in a tantrum in which the car chased the motorcycle and later rammed it from behind. The motorcyclist succumbed to his serious injuries and a complaint has already been filed against the driver.

Surveillance camera footage that went viral on social media showed the car chasing the motorcycle at high speed at night.

Bengaluru has seen a rise in road rage incidents of late. Police have already urged commuters to report any incidents they find themselves involved in and advised them to call 112 in case of emergency.

Recently, a frightening incident of road rage came to light on social media in which a bouncer attacked a couple's car. He smashed the window pane of the car and created a ruckus on Sarjapur Road. Pictures of the same went viral on social media. However, Bellandur police arrested the bouncer who attacked the car.

Meanwhile, people are demanding stricter measures and more patrols from the police to prevent such incidents. Bengaluru Police also stated that incidents of road rage causing problems for commuters will not be tolerated. In an X-post, Bengaluru Police said, “Glass shattered but his chances of walking freely are also gone – road rage ends in handcuffs.”
