Several people arrested in shooting at Food Lion parking lot

RICHMOND, Virginia – Several people were arrested following a shooting Thursday morning on Richmond's Southside, sources told Crime Insider Jon Burkett.

According to these sources, the shooting involved several vehicles in the parking lot of Food Lion on Hull Street Road, which is Richmond's Swanson neighborhood.

Police were initially called to the 5700 block of Swanson Road at 11 a.m. to a report of a shooting. About three minutes later, officers were called to the 5600 block of Hull Street Road to a report of a shooting. About five minutes later, police were called to the 5700 block of Jackson Wood Court to a report of a shooting.

It is unclear whether anyone was injured or whether the three reported shootings are related.
