Jesse Garcia and Jess Weixler play the main roles in the crime thriller “Tender”

EXCLUSIVE: Jesse Garcia (Flamin's Hot) and Jess Weixler (Teeth) have committed to play the leading role in Tendera crime thriller whose production begins this week in Los Angeles.

Screenplay and direction: Adam Hoelzel (pack animal), the film revolves around a couple whose marriage is falling apart and who are struggling with mounting debt. When they discover a piece of gold hidden in their own house, the couple hatches a risky plan to sell it and solve their financial problems.

Other actors include Robert Longstreet (Sorry to disturb you), Shakira Barrera (GLOW), Mark St. Cyr (The menu), Sonja O’Hara (Mid-century), Keli Price (Murder at Hollow Creek), Stephen Ellis (Hail, Caesar!), Robert Peters (Lincoln) and Alexander Cubis (Tyler Perry's Reckless).

Sofia Rovaletti (Mid-century), O’Hara (End of the world), Farrell Ingle, Keli Price (bandit) and Theo Bucksey (Morrow Street) will be together with Corey Moosa (Margin call) under his new banner, A Group of Ferrets.

Tender is the directorial debut of Hoelzel, who previously wrote the screenplay for the crime action film pack animal with Daniel Radcliffe in the leading role.
