The official residence of King Charles III is making headlines again after video of the recent incident at Buckingham Palace went viral.

The unfortunate moment in the palace was surprisingly caught on camera and sparked reactions from social media users.

The video circulating on the Internet shows the moment when the guard's foot slips from under his buttocks in the middle of the march and he lands on his buttocks on the ground before quickly jumping up again and catching himself.

The incident reportedly occurred last Sunday when a visitor unexpectedly filmed the embarrassing moment during his appearance at the iconic royal residence.

Fortunately, the guard was unharmed in the accident and quickly got up, although his rifle also fell to the ground. However, his face was a little red, matching his tunic.

An X-ray technician from Liverpool who recorded the moment said: “I was just filming and he just slipped over. I had to watch the video again to believe it.”

Anthony added, according to the Mirror: “The spectators were shocked – everyone was saying, 'Did that just happen?' The security guard quickly jumped up and composed himself. Then he was straight back in action.”
