Klein ISD warns parents about stranger danger incident

Klein ISD police are investigating a report of a suspicious person near Ehrhardt Elementary School after a person allegedly attempted to persuade students to get into their vehicle.

According to an email sent to parents, the incident involved a suspect driving a red four-door Lexus that had damage to the right rear bumper. The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 30 years old, with a brown beard and wearing a red shirt. The man reportedly attempted to persuade students on their way home from school to get into his car.

Klein ISD police are actively investigating the situation and have increased patrols in the area to ensure the safety of students and the community. Police commend the quick action of students and parents who reported the incident.

Parents are encouraged to talk to their children about the importance of staying alert, avoiding conversations with strangers, and reporting suspicious activity immediately.
