Video shows driver pulling out gun during DUI incident in Port St. Lucie – NBC 6 South Florida

A wild new video shows how a road rage incident in Florida took a dangerous turn when a man pointed a gun at another motorist.

According to Port St. Lucie police, the incident occurred Tuesday when 63-year-old Paul Slane drove his black Mercedes around a truck while pointing a gun at the two occupants and then stopped on the road in front of the truck.

The video, apparently shot by the truck's passenger, shows Slane getting out of the Mercedes and walking toward the truck with a gun in his hand.

“Get out of the damn car, now!” he screams in the video.

“Should I shoot him?” asks the man driving the truck, who also appears to have a gun in his hand.

“Get out of that damn car!” Slane says in the video. “I'm telling you now!”

“You were the one who started it,” replies the truck driver.

Then Slane reaches into the truck and grabs the woman's phone.

“Give me the damn phone,” he says. “Get out of the damn car, now… get out of the car!”

“Who the hell are you, brother?” the woman asks. “You're going to get arrested, you know that, right?”

Then Slane goes back to his Mercedes and drives away.

According to police, Slane was later arrested on several charges, including aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, attempted armed robbery and simple assault.
