Somerville Police Crime Report August 13-19

Arrest

24049684: On 8/16/24 at approximately 2:39 a.m., Somerville Police responded to a residential residence on Russell Street for a burglary report. Upon arrival, officers observed a male companion walking around the residence. He was arrested.

Robbery

24050313: On 08/18/24 at approximately 10:34 p.m., Somerville Police responded to a report of theft at 389 Highland Avenue. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the victim who stated he was in the Seven Hills Park area with his friends and was approached by a male subject. The male suspect then punched the victim in the face and stole his electric scooter.

24050348: On 8/19/24 at approximately 2:26 a.m., Somerville Police responded to a report of an injured person at an apartment complex on Broadway. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the victim, who stated that he was assaulted by a man and a woman at Seven Hills Park sometime last week. The victim sustained injuries to his eye and abdomen.

24049855: On 8/16/24 at approximately 4:23 p.m., Somerville Police responded to a call of an assault at a business on Assembly Row. Upon arrival, officers spoke with an employee who stated a young man entered the business and stole two drinks. The suspect later returned to the business and threw a bottle at the employee's head. Officers identified the suspect.
