Peacock has just added one of the best crime series of all time to its library: Homicide & Life on the Street.

If you're my age (a sprightly 32) or younger, you may not be familiar with this legendary series. The seventh and final season ended in 1999, and while it was syndicated on some networks, it was notoriously difficult to find. Physical media releases were sporadic, and until now, it couldn't be found on any streaming service, so unless you had a parent who raved about it or watched syndicated reruns, you may never have seen it.
