After a viral video surfaced of Lamar Jackson riding his bike to practice at Lambeau Field — a Green Bay Packers tradition — the Baltimore Ravens quarterback expressed his thoughts on social media.

Jackson, who nearly fell over on his bike while high-fiving fans, said it was a great experience overall.

“It was awesome,” Jackson told WFRV Sports' Timothy Littau. “I almost fell off my bike trying to shake hands with the fans. There were a few mechanical issues, but everything was fine. Definitely a cool tradition. I loved it.”

He later hinted to X that his first bike ride in Green Bay could have been better:

The Packers have a long-standing tradition of riding bikes to practice during training camp. Children from the Green Bay area bring their bikes for the players to ride along with in exchange for holding the players' helmets.

On Thursday, the Ravens decided to join in the fun, but things didn't go so well for Jackson. Maybe next time he'll just walk away.

Fortunately for Baltimore, Jackson escaped injury while riding his bike on Thursday, and the Ravens can count on the reigning MVP for another great season in 2024. Jackson is coming off a season in which he recorded 3,678 passing yards and 24 touchdowns, along with 821 rushing yards and five touchdowns on the ground.

He led the Ravens to a 13-4 record and an appearance in the AFC Championship game, where they lost to the eventual champion Kansas City Chiefs. In his seventh NFL season, Jackson will look to lead Baltimore to further success.
