Police: Neighborhood complaints lead to drug raid at Boise home

Police said the arrests followed several complaints from neighbors about a house on Lemhi Street.

BOISE, Idaho — The Boise Police Department (BPD) executed a search warrant as part of an investigation Wednesday evening and arrested six people for the sale or use of illegal drugs. Boise police said they received several complaints about activity at a home in the 2000 block of Lemhi Street.

During the investigation, officers and neighbors noticed suspicious activity that may be related to the sale of illegal drugs, including the coming and going of various people and extended stays. The BPD said it also found evidence of drug sales and use.

“The Boise Police Department would like to thank neighbors who alerted to suspicious behavior in their neighborhood,” said Police Captain Mike Ruffalo. “We appreciate the partnership with the community and the dedication of the Neighborhood Contact Officer Unit who investigated what was considered a neighborhood problem and ultimately made these arrests.”

Police obtained a search warrant in June and a second one on Wednesday, August 21, which led to the arrests. During the search, police said they found substances that tested positive for methamphetamine and cocaine, as well as drug paraphernalia.

David Holtz, 59, of Boise, was charged with possession of a controlled substance and frequenting a place where controlled substances are used, manufactured, cultivated, kept, delivered and administered. Micah Frazier, 29, of Nampa, was charged with frequenting a place where controlled substances are used, manufactured, cultivated, kept, delivered and administered.

Mindy Kraus, 38, of Meridian was charged with probation violation and frequent attendance at a place where controlled substances are used, manufactured, cultivated, kept, delivered and administered. Angel Boswell, 23, of Burley was charged with failure to appear and frequent attendance at a place where controlled substances are used, manufactured, cultivated, kept, delivered and administered.

William Coleman, 29, of Boise, was charged with frequently being at a place where controlled substances are consumed, manufactured, cultivated, stored, delivered, or administered. Glenn Walker, 47, of Boise, was charged with failure to appear in court.
