Bears' Douglass Coleman III carried off the field on a stretcher – NBC Sports Chicago

Bears defensive back Douglass Coleman III was carried off the field at Arrowhead Stadium on a stretcher after suffering a serious injury during the game.

It was a frightening scene as both teams came onto the field to surround Coleman in support.

It is unclear what injured 26-year-old Coleman.

He played two years in the CFL (Canadian Football League) in 2022 and 2023. He appeared in 22 games for the Ottawa Redblacks. With the Redblacks, he recorded 78 tackles, 5.0 sacks, three interceptions, and two defensive touchdowns.

He signed with the Broncos as a non-drafted free agent in 2020, but was released at the end of training camp.
