PennDOT hosts job fairs to fill a variety of open positions

(WKBN) – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation is hiring and is hosting several job fairs to find the right candidates.

PennDOT is looking for transportation equipment operators, diesel and construction equipment mechanics, laborers and radio operators. Other design and construction positions are also open.

There will be four job fairs in the next few weeks, including one on-site:

• August 28, 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. – Venango County Maintenance Facility, 1460 Pittsburgh Rd., Franklin, PA

• September 4, 1 to 4 p.m. – Mercer County Maintenance Facility, 215 Maple St., Mercer, PA

• September 9, 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. – Warren County Maintenance Facility, 20745 Route 6, Warren, PA

• September 11, 1 to 4 p.m. – Crawford County Maintenance Facility, 18492 Smock Highway, Meadville, PA

During the job fair, applicants can find out about the job openings and ask their questions. On-site interviews and conditional job offers are possible.

Applicants are asked to bring a current CV and two identification documents.
