Naples man arrested for assault after family dispute

A Naples man was arrested early Monday morning following a domestic incident that resulted in assault charges.

Thomas Roland Folts Jr., 32, was arrested at his State Route 21 residence around 5:30 a.m. after allegedly punching a family member in the eye and knocking him to the ground.

The victim suffered abrasions to her arm and palm as a result of the altercation. Folts was charged with third-degree assault and appeared before the Centralized Arraignment Part (CAP).

He is scheduled to appear in Naples City Court at a later date to answer the charges.
