Portuguese football legend Cristiano Ronaldo continues to push the boundaries of social reach as his new YouTube channel 'UR – Cristiano' has broken several records within a day of its launch. Already the most followed personality across various forms of social media, the footballer has spread his wings even further by starting to conquer the YouTube scene. Although most videos are around a minute long, Ronaldo's channel crossed the 1 million subscriber mark in less than the duration of a football match. But how much could he currently be earning from his new venture?

Ronaldo has already uploaded 12 videos to his YouTube channel in less than two days. Although the optimal length of a YouTube video is around 10 minutes, Ronaldo's overwhelming influence has ensured that even the short videos receive millions of views. Ronaldo has already reached over 20 million views on three different videos.

According to research by Thinkific, YouTube channels can earn just under $6 per 1,000 views, which equates to $1,200 to $6,000 per million views.

At the time of writing, Ronaldo has surpassed the 100 million mark on YouTube. Combined with his star appeal, advertising revenue and sponsorship deals he has secured through his recent YouTube success, Ronaldo may have already earned well over several hundred million USD.

The Portuguese striker currently has over 30 million YouTube subscribers and presents videos with his son Cristiano Jr. and his partner Georgina Rodriguez on topics such as ranking his European Championship goals, free kick challenges or “This or That” games.

On the field, Ronaldo scored 44 goals for Saudi Pro League club Al Nassr in the 2023-24 season. Despite a poor Euro 2024 campaign – in which he did not score a single goal – Ronaldo started the 2024-25 season with three goals in three games.
