Here it is again! This week's recap and videos of this week's featured pets

Animal lovers! – Here it is again. After the featured pet of the day posts began, you were promised a recap and videos (if any) of each animal. This week was our first full week of this program, so you'll see 5 different pets looking for permanent homes. All of these pets are currently being taken in at Ozarks Pet Rescue. We hope to help local shelters with their overcrowding by raising awareness of the situation and helping these animals finally find a place to settle down. Check out this week's pets below. There weren't very many videos of these animals, so excuse me, some animals either like the camera like a best friend or just want you to get a good shot of their rear end.

As of Monday, we featured Harlow as the featured pet of the day. Harlow is one of the sweetest and calmest cats you will ever meet. She was a cat mom and is now almost out of milk. She was abandoned at the Snappy Mart gas station and then rescued there. She is currently being fostered at Ozarks Pet Rescue and we are told she has received all of her vaccinations and medications. Harlow quickly gains trust with all people and gets along well with children. She also loves being the center of attention and can be transported well in a kennel. She is also one of the rare cats that loves a good snuggle.

On Tuesday we introduced Zena. She is very shy and timid around new people, but she is one of the sweetest little girls ever. She had a difficult past and was rescued from a home with 57 other dogs and cats where they were not fed and cared for, so she is shy around strangers. When I was there, Zena showed interest in other people and behaves well around other dogs and cats. She gets along well with children and adults alike. Please give this girl some love and her first permanent home where she can be safe and content. Zena is a beautiful dog with a great coat and amazing spots on her face and back. She came from a not so good situation and is still looking for her forever love.

On Wednesday, the featured pet of the day included three different kitties: Socks, Daisy, and Luke Bryan. I met these three kitties and they all have the best cat personalities. Socks is a real cuddly cat and a people pleaser. He always butts in on your business to get his cuddles. Luke Bryan has a fun personality and will show you his belly when you pet him. Daisy is a little shyer than her peers but still loves their attention. All three are comfortable in kennels and are currently being cared for in a home run by Ozarks Pet Rescue. They are currently all being cared for together and waiting for their forever owners to show up and take them home.

Thursday's Featured Pet of the Day brought you the beautiful sight of Pat. Pat is an 8-month-old bully mix. Pat gets along very well with other dogs, but not so well with cats. Pat is a sweet, fun-loving dog who gets along with all people. This pup was brought to Ozarks Pet Rescue after being rescued from the euthanasia list at Mountain Grove Animal Control. Pat is looking for a fun-loving home where she can bring out her true personality.

Today's Pet of the Day is brought to you by Pat's brother Vin Diesel. Vin Diesel is also an 8-month-old bully mix. He was rescued from the Mountain Grove Animal Control euthanasia list. He is described as a completely people-friendly pup. He loves to play, run, and give kisses. He enjoys all kinds of toys and other dogs. He doesn't get along so well with cats, though.

If you are interested in adopting one of these wonderful animals, contact Ozarks Pet Rescue at 417-372-9820. Adoption fees for dogs are $150, kittens are $100, and adult cats are $75. Watch for next week as we start with some posts about animals from a new shelter. Don't forget to check out the recaps. Have a great weekend everyone!
