New Orleans Police Investigate Fatal Accident on Crescent City Connection

New Orleans police are investigating a fatal motorcycle crash Friday morning on the Crescent City Connection. The crash occurred in the eastbound lanes of the bridge. The three left lanes are currently closed. The motorcycle became trapped under a car during the crash. Backups have reached Lafayette and traffic delays could last up to an hour.

In the accident, the motorcycle got stuck under a car.

Traffic jams have occurred as far as Lafayette, which could possibly last up to an hour.
