$5,000 reward offered for Fort Lauderdale triple shooting that left teen dead – NBC 6 South Florida

A reward of $5,000 has now been offered for the triple shooting in Fort Lauderdale that left an 18-year-old man dead over the weekend.

The shooting occurred around 5 a.m. Saturday in the 600 block of Northwest 62nd Street.

Fort Lauderdale police said officers and firefighters responded and found three men who had been shot in a vehicle.

The three shooting victims and a fourth victim who was not hit by gunfire were taken to a local hospital, where one of them was pronounced dead from his injuries.

Police later identified the victim as 18-year-old Marion Harrison. The other two victims were still in the hospital on Monday.

911 calls related to the shooting were also released on Monday, including one made by one of the victims.

“Get me help… come on, get me help, my leg… hurry up,” says a male voice in one of the conversations before the conversation is interrupted.

“Sir, I’ve been shot,” the man tells another 911 dispatcher.

“Ah, my leg!” says another victim in another 911 call. “I got shot… I'm bleeding everywhere, brother.”

Screams can be heard in the background as the police arrive at the scene.

“Take my brother to the hospital!” someone is heard shouting.

According to police, the shooting apparently occurred on the street while the victims were driving, and the suspects fled the area after the shooting.

Footage from the crime scene showed a dark-colored sedan with numerous bullet holes and dozens of yellow markings on the ground where bullet casings had fallen.

A Crime Stoppers flyer posted Friday promised a $5,000 reward for information on the shooting. Anyone with information is asked to call 954-493-TIPS.
