CareerLink Lehigh Valley hosts “job huts” in three cities

For job seekers, PA CareerLink Lehigh Valley will host “job huts” in Easton, Allentown and Bethlehem over the next few weeks.

As part of PA CareerLink Awareness Days, Job Huts showcase employers and job openings in the Lehigh Valley. CareerLink staff are available to assist job seekers.

“Now is the time to take control of your own career,” said Nancy Dischinat, executive director of the Lehigh Valley Workforce Board. “Visit one of our PA CareerLink Workforce Centers or visit us at Job Huts to get started on the right path. We make job hunting easy. Let us help you get into a career that pays you a wage.”

Anyone who visits a Jobhut also receives a free Payday candy bar.

Job huts will be set up at the following locations and dates:

  • Crayola Experience, 30 Center Square, Easton, March 27-28 August.
  • Lehigh Carbon Community College Donley Center, 718 Hamilton St., Allentown, Sept. 3.
  • Da Vinci Science Center, 815 Hamilton St., Allentown, Sept. 4.
  • Northampton County Community College Fowler Center, 511 E. Third St., Bethlehem, Sept. 10.
  • Bitty and Beau's Coffee, 74 W. Broad St., Bethlehem, Sept. 11.

The job huts are open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

CareerLink Lehigh Valley's satellite workforce centers at the LCCC Donley Center, 718 Hamilton Street, Allentown and at St. Luke's Sacred Heart Campus, 325 N. Fifth St., Allentown, are also available to job seekers.
