There is a chance of rain in Sonoma County on Saturday. Here's how much

Although summer still has a month left, some rain is expected in Sonoma County this weekend.

Only it won't be much.

The National Weather Service updated its forecast on Friday, calling for 0.25 millimeters of rainfall in northern Sonoma County through Saturday afternoon.

In other areas the number is likely to be significantly lower.

Meteorologists said Friday that the chance of precipitation across the North Bay was between 20 and 60 percent.

In other parts of the Bay Area, the chance of precipitation is 10 to 20%. Further south on the Central Coast, the chance of rain is less than 10%.

Cloudy conditions and low temperatures are also on the way.

This weekend, highs across the North Bay could be just above 25 degrees Celsius, while temperatures along the coast could reach as low as 10 degrees Celsius.

Temperatures expected in Santa Rosa on Saturday are 21 degrees and in Napa 18 degrees.

Temperatures are expected to rise above 30 degrees by Monday. Highs of 34 degrees are expected in Santa Rosa and 32 degrees in Napa.
