Flack Broadcasting – Old Forge resident faces multiple charges after allegedly attacking police officers during domestic incident

OLD BLACKSMITH- A Western Adirondacks resident is facing numerous charges in connection with a domestic incident in Herkimer County in which police officers were attacked, authorities say.

Paul J. Case, 23, of Old Forge, NY, was arrested by Webb Township Police on Friday. Case was formally charged with second-degree assault, resisting arrest, criminal damage to property and two counts of second-degree harassment.

According to police, these charges stem from a reported domestic incident on August 8 in Old Forge, NY.

The incident occurred on Adams Street, where police officers were attacked, leaving one of them hospitalized, investigators said.

As of press time, authorities said Case had been remanded to the Herkimer County Jail pending arraignment.
