Man allegedly shot at occupied vehicle

MOBILE, Alabama (WALA) – A Saraland man faces multiple charges after shooting into an occupied vehicle, according to the Mobile County Sheriff’s Office.

Hunter Ray Walker, 29, was booked into the Mobile County Jail early Friday morning.

The MCSO was called to Lockwood Drive and Old Pascagoula Road around 9:30 p.m. Thursday for a report of shots fired into an occupied vehicle. Authorities said the victim stated she saw Walker, the brother of her baby's father, shoot into her vehicle while she was driving.

Saraland police stopped Walker and took him to the Southside Substation. MCSO questioned him and he allegedly confessed to shooting at the vehicle, according to the sheriff's office.

According to authorities, Walker stated that there had long been “hostile blood” between them.

No injuries were reported in the incident.

Walker is charged with shooting at an inhabited or uninhabited structure or vehicle and reckless endangerment.

Jail records show a bail hearing is scheduled for Monday.
