Waterloo woman arrested for shoplifting at local store

A Waterloo resident was arrested earlier this week after shoplifting at a local store.

Camryn P. Lanahan, 20, was taken into custody on Friday, August 23, 2024, after allegedly stealing merchandise from the store on August 20. Authorities reported that Lanahan left the property without attempting to pay for the items.

Lanahan was charged with petty theft, a misdemeanor. She was issued a summons and is scheduled to appear in court at a later date to answer the charge.
