Air Jordan 4 – Release Dates 2024

The sneaker has been released in various quantities and editions since its debut. Its first retro came out in 1999, about a year after Michael Jordan retired from the Chicago Bulls. The reissue featured the original “White/Cement” and “Black/Cement” styles, as well as two “LS” (or Lifestyle) models. The LS versions of the Jordan 4 featured a Jumpman logo on the heel and leather panels on the sides instead of the traditional mesh.

The sneaker became very popular with collectors throughout the 2000s and returned in small quantities in 2005 and 2006 with the introduction of the “Laser”, “Thunder” and “Lightning” editions.

One of the rarest and most expensive Jordan 4s is the 2005 collaboration with Undefeated. Only 72 pairs were released via raffle at the brand's Los Angeles store. More recently, the pair has sold for more than $30,000 on the aftermarket. The collaboration with Eminem and Mark Wahlberg is also among the most expensive and limited Retro 4s of all time.

General versions of the sneaker sell out quickly after release, although non-original styles and non-collaborations have been more easily accessible since 2021.
